Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Skilled Laborer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be integral to the production process, supporting assembly, mechanical tasks, and safety compliance across our manufacturing facility. Your hands-on expertise and proactive approach will help ensure smooth operations, high-quality output, and continuous process improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to our success. Here at High Plains Biochar, we are a company of innovation and we work 6 hour days from 8 am - 2pm. After the 60 day probationary period, there is 10 days of paid time off. Duties Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and complete assembly tasks efficiently Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and mechanical work Assist in the assembly line process by managing manual handling tasks and heavy lifting with proper safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of equipment, tools, and materials to maintain safety standards in production Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements Interpret manufacturing documents such as work orders, production schedules, and technical specifications Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to safety standards in production environments Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on mechanical assembly and equipment operations. Experience using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles and safety protocol adherence Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage manual handling tasks efficiently Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement practices Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and operational excellence. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
