Job Description
Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. Summary :
The Maintenance Planner estimates, plans, and schedules all plant maintenance activities including the coordination of preventative maintenance. Processes and prioritizes work orders, examines, and determines best approach for work order completion, including obtaining necessary schematics and checking parts availability. In addition, this position will initiate requisitions for maintenance and indirect purchases. Acts as a liaison between the production, engineering and maintenance groups and maintains records for analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Creates and manages preventative maintenance checklists Ensures equipment lists and functional locations are accurate Conducts data analysis to identify improvement opportunities Ensures standardization and proper utilization of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system Utilizes EAM system to reduce inventory and maintenance costs Develops processes to maintain optimal inventory of critical spare partsDevelops and execute strategies to eliminate equipment failures and prevent reoccurrence Prioritize workflow of equipment through the repair process Actively participates in execution of the daily plan by ensuring the right equipment is identified for preventative/setup work prior to the days run Conducts root cause analysis on production equipment and recommend or implement corrective actions. Should be able to communicate with Original Equipment Manufacturer as needed Assist in overall stock reduction through while assuring critical spares are in place Employees working in Alaska are advised to have medical insurance coverage which is valid in the State of Alaska. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, six months of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean, Six Sigma or TPM preferred. Change management experience preferred. Industry specific experience Supervision or other experience
Knowledge, Skillsets, and Abilities:
Experience in SAP and EAM or equivalent asset management systems. Experience in MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects regularly up to 10 pounds frequently up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
