Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Shop Technician Level 1, you will play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of our facility by assisting with equipment maintenance, inspections, and general shop upkeep. This position requires a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform routine facility and yard upkeep. Utilize SiteDocs daily to complete required safety and maintenance forms. Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining RCD equipment. Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Support the shipping and receiving process for MPD/RCD equipment. Assist in receiving vendor orders and verifying shipments. Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors as needed. Conduct preventive maintenance checks and service on RCD equipment. Maintain company-issued tools and develop skills in their use. Provide support to the Shop Foreman and Operations Team with maintenance tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-2 years of experience working in a shop environment. Mechanically inclined with the ability to apply mechanical knowledge effectively. Effective communication (written & verbal), analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Organized, dependable, and action-oriented. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
Required Certifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
