Qualifications
Previous maintenance experience required; healthcare maintenance experience preferred but not required
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be dependable and maintain excellent attendance
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
Must successfully complete required background checks and drug screening
Essential Job Functions
Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout the facility
Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
Assist with painting, repairs, and upkeep of resident rooms and common areas
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs
Ensure the facility grounds and building remain safe, clean, and well-maintained
Assist with equipment inspections and maintenance schedules
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to address after-hours maintenance needs
Follow all facility safety policies and procedures
