General Laborer/Maintenance Tried & True Property Solutions LLC Jonesboro, AR 72401 From $14 an hour - Part-time, Contract From $14 an hour - Part-time, Contract Job Overview We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Laborer to support various maintenance, repair, and operational tasks across our facilities. This role involves hands-on work in manufacturing, facilities maintenance, and general operations, requiring a proactive approach and a strong mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical knowledge to ensure the smooth functioning of our equipment and infrastructure. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Operate and interpret schematics, CMMS systems, and use tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics. Conduct welding, residential painting, and other repair tasks as needed to maintain facility standards. Assist with manufacturing processes by supporting production lines and ensuring operational efficiency. Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities to minimize downtime. Supervise or lead small teams during specific projects or tasks when required. Maintain safety protocols while working around industrial equipment and facilities. Support customer service efforts by ensuring facilities are well-maintained and operationally efficient. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical equipment repair and plumbing system maintenance. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, CMMS software, and ohmmeters. Experience in welding, HVAC system repair, residential painting, and facilities maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately. Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices within manufacturing or industrial settings. Leadership or supervising experience to coordinate team efforts effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our facilities and supporting operational excellence across departments.
