Driver's License Full Job Description Schedule/Hours:
Casual This position is responsible for: Performs routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles; performs routine groundskeeping work to ensure the beautification of the landscape; performs minor plumbing and carpentry repair work; regularly cleans building and sanitizes as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Mows grass and edges lawns, sidewalks, and curbs; cleans debris. Cuts-down trees; trims trees and bushes. Ensures proper maintenance of grounds keeping equipment; lubricates mowers and tractor fittings; installs tractor tires as needed.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform heavy lifting. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects (25-50 lbs.). Physical ability to "team lift" heavy materials, supplies and equipment (50-100 lbs) occasionally. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to read and follow a map and/or hand-written directions. Work requires working with cleaning chemicals and may involve discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. High school diploma or
G.E.D. AND
Two years of experience in handling minor building and maintenance repairs and good skill in the use of hand, lawn, and power tools, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
