Position Overview Haven Health Cottonwood is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Assistant to support the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility. This role is essential in maintaining a comfortable, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, minor plumbing, and general repairs Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner Repair, fabricate, and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and tasks Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential issues Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and team to ensure efficient completion of assignments Respond professionally to maintenance requests and provide strong customer service Perform safety checks to ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities Qualifications Previous experience in facilities maintenance (healthcare or residential setting preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Fluent in English Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance Ability to pass a background check and drug screening TB clearance (post-hire requirement) Must be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Reliable transportation to Cottonwood, AZ 86326 About Us Haven Health Cottonwood is an 80-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in the scenic Verde Valley.
