This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscaping, gardening, and maintenance tasks to ensure parks, commercial properties, or residential landscapes are vibrant, healthy, and inviting. You will work with a diverse set of tools and equipment, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and safety of outdoor environments. Duties Mow lawns, trim grass, and edge landscapes to maintain a neat appearance using power tools such as mowers and trimmers Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, mulching, pruning trees and shrubs, and installing garden beds Operate hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for various gardening and landscaping activities Use machinery such as excavators or skid steers for larger construction or hardscape projects Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing sprinklers to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for pedestrians Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during daily operations Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control Familiarity with landscape construction projects such as hardscaping (patios, walkways) or tree care (trimming, removal) Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and small machinery safely and effectively Understanding of horticulture principles to promote healthy plant growth and landscape design Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols during equipment operation Must be bilingual (English & Spanish preferred or required) Must have a clean and valid driver's license This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in landscaping and outdoor maintenance while contributing to beautiful environments.
