Job Description
Position Information Build your career with the County of Sonoma as a Maintenance Worker at our Annapolis Road Yard. Starting salary up to $34.68/hour ($72,381/year) and a competitive total compensation package!
- Please note: This position's reporting location is in person, on-site at the County of Sonoma Maintenance Yard on Annapolis Road in Annapolis, CA, Monday-Friday.

This Maintenance Worker position will be assigned to the Road Maintenance Yard located in Annapolis.Working Conditions:
Job duties of the Maintenance Worker I position require sitting, standing, walking on level, uneven, sloped, and slippery surfaces at various heights, reaching, kneeling, bending, stooping, crawling, squatting, crouching, and grasping. They also need to lift, carry, and push equipment, materials, and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds. Incumbents are required to be available for after-hours emergency response; work in close proximity to moving traffic; and work in all weather conditions, including rain, cold, heat, fumes, dust, and other air contaminants which may cause eye and skin irritation. The nature of the work also requires incumbents to climb ladders, ride personnel lifts, work in confined spaces, handle noise-producing tools and equipment, and drive a motorized vehicle. Under the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, incumbents will be subject to random drug testing if they operate vehicles and/or equipment that require DOT testing.
