This position plays a vital role in keeping our fleet, shop, and warehouse operating efficiently. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized work environment and is comfortable performing basic vehicle maintenance and supporting field crews. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Organize and maintain shop inventory, tools, equipment, and materials. Receive, stock, and track parts and supplies. Perform basic fleet maintenance, including: Oil changes Tire rotations Checking and topping off fluids Replacing wiper blades, air filters, and light bulbs Inspecting vehicles for routine maintenance needs Wash, clean, and detail company trucks, trailers, and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop, warehouse, and yard. Make local parts and material runs to suppliers and job sites. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment for field crews. Assist technicians with preparing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Assist with equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment (training provided if needed). Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain compliance with safety procedures. Perform general shop maintenance, including sweeping, pressure washing, organizing storage areas, and keeping workspaces hazard-free. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous shop, warehouse, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and hand tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Ability to safely operate trucks and trailers is preferred. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
