We have an opening for a Part-Time Maintenance Specialist/Maintenance Trainee in Public Works/Streets.
Key responsibilities include:
Street maintenance; Concrete demo, and curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement; Tree trimming; Landscape maintenance and irrigation system repair; Graffiti removal. The ideal candidate for this position will: Work cooperatively with others and contribute to a successful team effort; Operate equipment and vehicles in a manner consistent with safety procedures; Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude; Read, write, and understand English to follow safety precautions and procedures.
Minimum requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent; Experience performing routine construction, landscape and/or maintenance work, including manual labor experience involving the use of hand tools and portable power tools is desirable; Must possess a valid Class "C" California driver's license at the time of application; Ability to work weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime when required.
Salary :
$19.70
