The reporting location for this position is San Joaquin River Parkway in Fresno, CA. This position will work under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer. The Maintenance Aide will perform routine maintenance tasks and unskilled manual labor by completing projects in areas including, but not limited to, housekeeping, grounds keeping, building repair and reconstruction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, painting, and trail maintenance. The Maintenance Aide will work safely and cooperatively with other Conservancy staff and perform duties within the limits of their training and licensing. The essential job functions of this position may include the use of hand or power tools of which the Maintenance Aid has been trained and approved to use. This position requires the capability to maintain a good attitude in a demanding and changing environment and develop strong organizational, interpersonal and excellent communication skills. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application. San Joaquin River Conservancy Department Information The San Joaquin River Conservancy isa regionally governed agency created to develop and manage the San Joaquin River Parkway, a planned 22-mile natural and recreational area in the floodplain extending from Friant Dam to Highway 99. The Conservancy's mission includes aquiring approximately 5,900 acres from willing sellers; developing, operating, and managing those lands for public access and recreation; and proecting, enhancing, and restoring riparian and floodplain habitat.
