Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our camp grounds. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for owners, staff, and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Excellent customer service. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, irrigation and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct maintenance, painting projects, lawn care, tree care and more to maintain aesthetic standards across properties. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems when applicable. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations during maintenance activities. Mowing lawns, landscape task, basic maintenance task, bathroom up keep and cleaning, Recommended Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a background in electrical work, mechanical systems and maintaining grounds/lawns/camp grounds. Knowledge of manufacturing or residential environments is highly desirable. Ability to work small and large machinary. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with residents and/or owners.
