The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment, ensuring safety standards, and providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for overseeing maintenance tasks and leading small teams as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality. Basic plumbing skills are required to fix maintenance items such as cloggage and leak repairs. Conduct welding tasks as required for facility improvements or repairs (preferable, not required). Apply electrical experience to diagnose and resolve electrical issues (preferable, not required). Execute residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance. Have previous experience working in a hotel. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
