JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, heating, carpentry, and painting. This role involves hands-on work to ensure that facilities are maintained in good condition.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and installations, on various building systems. Inspect facilities and systems to identify maintenance needs and report issues to the Maintenance Manager. Follow work assignments and schedules as provided by the Maintenance Manager. Assist in implementing maintenance procedures and schedules. Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and promptly. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Basic knowledge of building systems. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Ability to follow maintenance schedules and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with basic hand tools and maintenance equipment. Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of experience in a maintenance or similar role preferred.
