Full Job Description Principal Responsibilities:
TECHNICAL
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements. Performs preventative maintenance procedures. Requires full range of body motion. Janitorial duties throughout facility.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs. Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.
QUALIFICATIONS
One year experience in a long term care center preferred Ability to read and write English for business necessity Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs One year experience in basic trades preferred Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred
CONSUMER SERVICE
Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech. Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns. Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
