Incumbent performs work in least two of the following trades in the maintenance and repair of buildings and reled fixtures:Plumbing:
Makes plumbing repairs to sinks, faucets, commodes, tanks, urinals, P-traps, shut-off valves and wer supply th can be accomplished by removing, cleaning, resealing, replacing defective parts or units. Installs wer heers, garbage disposals, faucets and sinks.Air Conditioning:
Recognizes cause of faulty equipment and makes repairs on a variety of air condition units.Electrical:
Repairs are accomplished by removing, replacing, tightening, splicing, soldering and insuling defective wiring, controls, equipment and fixtures such as broken and bare wiring, burned out switches and relays, loose connections and fittings, damaged light fixtures and poorly opering thermosts. Replaces fluorescent and incandescent bulbs and tubes.Carpentry:
Measures, cuts and constructs or repairs wood or wood substitute items. Performs basic carpentry repairs such as repair/replace screens, window and door frames, molding and trim. Repair and replace drywall and similar products.Painting:
Performs standard coing methods such as brushing, rolling and spraying and ensure surfaces are fully coed, protected and free from drips and runs. Performs other reled duties as assigned. This position is required to do considerable standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and climbing. Qualificions Two years of experience th demonstres knowledge in the applicable combinion of trades sufficient to perform the duties of the position. Knowledge of safety and environmental rules and regulions concerning procedures, equipment, commonly used chemicals and basic safety is required. Must be able to communice clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with management, staff and guests. Educion This position is not in a positive educion series.
