Full Job Description Job Title:

Construction Operations Assistant (Entry-Level) HArts Design+Build is looking for a local, detail-oriented, and highly reliable individual to join our hardworking field crew. This is a foundational role designed for someone who takes pride in maintaining a professional job site and is looking to build a long-term career in the design-build industry. We aren't just looking for a "cleaner"—we are looking for a dedicated team member who understands that a tidy, safe, and organized site is the backbone of a high-quality renovation.

What You'll Do Site Preparation:

Help protect client homes by installing floor protection and dust barriers prior to demolition.

Active Site Support:

Assist with demolition, bagging debris, and loading the company van.

Maintenance & Photography:

Visit sites 2-3 times per week (30-45 min sessions) to sweep, vacuum, and document progress via photos.

Tool Stewardship:

Responsible for the cleaning and preventative maintenance of tools (oiling hinges, wiping dust, and organizing parts).

Logistics & Errands:

Occasional pickups from Home Depot, Lowe's, or Ace.

Requirements Reliability:

You are punctual and consistent.

Transportation:

Must have a truck or van capable of hauling 4x8 panels for occasional errands (gas/mileage considered).

Location:

Ability to travel to job sites in South Bay, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo.

Growth Mindset:

We want someone committed to this role for at least a year. In exchange, we provide hands-on training and a clear path to move up into advanced construction or lead roles.

Experience:
