Johnson Service Group is looking for a Maintenance Worker for our client in San Jose. This person will perform a variety of maintenance and construction work for flood protection and raw water distribution facilities. This position will primarily support dams, recharge facilities, and pipelines. Responsibilities Perform construction, maintenance, repair, and general field work. Support maintenance of water distribution facilities, dams, recharge facilities, and pipelines. Operate hand and power tools and related equipment. Perform labor-intensive outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, safe work areas. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education:

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.

Experience:

Two (2) years of construction or field maintenance experience, including basic apprentice-level construction knowledge related to water distribution facilities.

License:

Valid California Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors and in the elements, safely use tools and equipment, and follow written and verbal instructions. 6 Month Contract- $32.43/hr. •Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
