Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Helper, where your enthusiasm and technical skills will keep our operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you will support the maintenance department by assisting with a variety of repair, troubleshooting, and upkeep tasks across our facilities. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for all team members and visitors. Duties Assist with routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting using schematics and technical manuals Support welding projects and fabrication work as needed to repair or modify equipment and structures Use tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues accurately Help with residential painting projects to maintain the appearance of facilities and equipment Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) under supervision for automation tasks in manufacturing or facility systems Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards Experience Basic mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques including use of ohmmeters Prior welding experience or certification is a plus Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork Demonstrated ability to read schematics, operate and interpret technical manuals Join us as a Maintenance Helper and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
