• Pay Rate:

• _The pay rate for this job is $21 - $29 / hour
• _ •What You'll Be Doing as a

General Maintenance Worker:

• + Delivers and installs refrigerators; removes defective refrigerators and returns them to the maintenance yard + Pours concrete, repairs damaged concrete + Paints main valve covers; performs various minor painting work + Inspects perimeter wall and barbed wire; repairs damaged areas + Records time, materials and related information on Service Repair Orders + Assist co-workers when necessary + Repairs or replaces window and sliding door screens + Repairs of washers and dryers + Repairs locks; makes keys + Perform other tasks as assigned based on departmental needs •

• Job Requirements:

• + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and cement work + Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices + Ability to learn to use all tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work + Ability to operate a 2-way radio + Frequent standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing and reaching + Ability to lift, push and pull up to 250 pounds with mechanical assistance + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds + Close and distance vision, depth perception, and good vision are required + Ability to work with minimal supervision and uses time appropriate to work related duties + Communicates clearly and respectfully in both verbal and written forms appropriate to a support role + Listens attentively, follows instructions, and seeks clarification when needed + Maintains discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive resident or organizational information + Prioritizes daily tasks independently and adapts to changing assignments or resident needs + Demonstrates patience, empathy, and emotional maturity when interacting with residents, staff, and outside agencies + Applies problem-solving skills to routine challenges and escalates complex issues appropriately + Understands and adheres to established policies, procedures, and organizational protocols + High school diploma or GED required.

+ CPR, AED, and First Aid training (provided by GRF upon employment) + Valid California Driver License + Background check and Drug test required
