About Avari Avari was built to raise the standard of vacation rental management. In a fragmented industry, we provide homeowners with trusted local teams, proven performance, and consistent experiences that guests return to again and again. Position Summary Avari is seeking a reliable and adaptable Seasonal Runner to support local operations by assisting with property readiness, basic maintenance, and logistics across multiple vacation homes. This role involves frequent travel within the assigned market and hands-on work to ensure homes meet company standards and are guest-ready. This is a part-time, seasonal position, with employment expected to begin on or around April 15, 2026, and continue through approximately October 1, 2026. Schedules and hours may vary based on business needs. Essential Job Functions Support local Compliance teams with pre inspections and inspections Travel between properties delivering supplies and supporting local operating and maintenance teams Perform basic maintenance tasks, including appliance, cable, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting Install safety items including smoke and carbon detectors, landlines and fire extinguishers Order, stock, and replenish maintenance supplies and inventory Ensure homes meet company Standard Compliance Unit guidelines Provide support and coverage for team members as required Build and maintain positive working relationships with local and regional teams Perform other duties as assigned in support of daily operations Skills and Qualifications Prior experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, hotels, maintenance, or housekeeping preferred Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and digital systems Reliable personal transportation required Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset Punctual, prepared, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Workplace Environment and Physical Requirements Work conducted indoors and outdoors, including private homes and resorts Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Frequent travel within the assigned market Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, standing, and driving Compensation $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (pay based on skills, experience, education, and location) Up to $100 per month car allowance for eligible employees Additional benefits and company perks outlined below Benefits and Perks Benefits eligibility is based on hours worked and may include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-sponsored and voluntary supplemental benefits 401(k) plan with immediate 100% company match on the first 4% contributed Flexible Spending Accounts (health and dependent care) Paid vacation and sick time Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee discounts Part-time, seasonal, and intermittent employees may not be eligible for all benefits.
