License /
Certification Required:
Valid California Drivers License. Must provide DMV report prior to offer being made. No driving infractions 5 years prior to hire or during time in this job. Infractions include DUI, Suspended or Revoked License, Reckless Driving. Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.
Education Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required:
Three years of technical training or previous maintenance experience If assigned to
Construction Services:
Three years of construction experience of any trade plumbing, electrical, mechanical/HVAC, framing drywall, painting, concrete, cabinetry, or flooring Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledgeable in electrical, air conditioning, welding, plumbing, or painting. Department Specific Requirements For Co-Generation Plant, Maintenance KHMC, Maintenance KHRH, and Plant Ops & Maintenance-TLC must have a personal cell phone for work purposes, preferably AT&T. Stipend will be provided.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Assists maintenance persons with designated tasks as assigned by Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager. Understands that each individual will be assigned primary responsibility in their specialty: Maintenance field or Painting field and will be primarily responsible for all Kaweah Health equipment. Addendum (essential for specific dept)
MAINTENANCE
Makes necessary repairs through adjustments, cleaning, or replacement of parts. Assembles and installs new mechanical equipment for use throughout co-generation plants and related departments. Inspects and tests designated mechanical equipment routinely to perform preventative maintenance, Checks printouts and reads gauges for all equipment, making necessary repairs and adjustments. Picks up and delivers designated items as required. Keeps accurate records of assigned tasks regarding time, equipment, tools, and supplies used. Maintains and keeps in good repair all tools and equipment.
PAINTING
Applies paint, varnish and lacquer or other material to surfaces for buildings, furniture, equipment and other structures. Applies wallpaper, drywall, wall texturing, ceiling texturing or other wall coverings. Operates any equipment required to complete job. Erects various types of scaffolding to reach surfaces. Additional Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Performs other duties as assigned.
