Maintenance Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants HQ Washington, DC Job Details Full-time $25 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Wellness program Commuter assistance Health insurance Referral program Qualifications Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Position Summary Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of our restaurant locations throughout the Washington, DC area. This position will travel between our restaurant locations as needed and will be responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure our restaurants remain safe, clean, functional, and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who can work independently, identify problems quickly, and complete repairs efficiently with minimal supervision. Schedule & Requirements Full-time position, Monday through Friday Approximately 35-40 hours per week Typical workday begins at approximately 6:00 AM or 7AM and ends around 1:00-2:00 PM, depending on the day's assignments. Must be comfortable traveling between multiple restaurant locations Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations Must be available to respond to maintenance needs at different properties during scheduled hours Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout restaurant locations Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues before they become larger problems Perform painting, patching, touch-ups, and general wall/ceiling repairs Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting Repair, replace, and install fixtures, hardware, doors, locks, shelving, and other items as needed Perform general handyman work and building maintenance Conduct routine inspections of restaurant facilities and identify maintenance needs Assist with preventative maintenance to reduce equipment and facility issues Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant management Maintain a clean and safe work environment Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition Coordinate with restaurant managers and leadership regarding maintenance needs Travel between restaurant locations as assigned Support special maintenance projects, renovations, installations, and other facility-related needs Required Experience & Skills The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in several of the following areas: Painting Plumbing Electrical General handyman work Building/facility maintenance Basic troubleshooting and repairs Preventative maintenance Use of common hand and power tools Qualifications Previous maintenance, handyman, facilities, or similar experience required Strong knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests Strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and dependable Professional and respectful when working in restaurant environments Ability to communicate effectively with restaurant managers and team members Ability to safely lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance tasks What We Offer Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants offers full-time employees company-subsidized health insurance. A full-time employee must work an average of 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance benefits. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the employee's 60th day of employment.
