Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant - Assisted Living Facility Grand Villa of Boynton Beach is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our esteemed Assisted Living facility. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents while working in a supportive and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the facility's HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of the building and its equipment Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, addressing issues efficiently and effectively Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and minor carpentry tasks Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance procedures Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus At Grand Villa of Boynton Beach, we pride ourselves on fostering a caring and inclusive community.
