Job Description

Calusa Country Club, located in Bradenton, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Assistant Mechanic ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
Overhaul and repair maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment and other power equipment Lubricate and service all equipment Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments where necessary Maintain up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs and their components Inspect, change and repair tires Assist in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff Clean working areas after repair work is completed Assist in fabricating, body repair and painting Adjust cutting units on mowing equipment Assist on the maintenance crew and operate mowing equipment when servicing is complete Assist in training the maintenance staff in the proper care and upkeep of the golf course equipment Operate or train to operate various types of maintenance equipment as needed Incorporate safe work practices in job performance Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate from college or technical school Must have 2+ years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance Must have a valid driver's license
Other Qualifications:
Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required Regular and reliable attendance
