Maintenance Worker

GL staffing is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills in various maintenance disciplines. Permanent Position, From Thursday thru Tuesday, from 7am until 7pm depends on the scheduled Pay rate: $17 per hour Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools effectively. Proficiency in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and horticulture practices. Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators for construction or landscaping purposes. Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques including trimming and pruning. Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter conditions. Familiarity with hardscape installation and general construction procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on preventative maintenance. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various outdoor environments. Strong attention to detail in maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship. Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and prolonged outdoor work. This position is essential for maintaining the safety, functionality, and visual appeal of our property.
