Job Description
Must Be at least 21 years of age. Summary Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain warehouse keep clean and organized and inform your supervisor weekly of items that need to be ordered. Receive food truck delivery and put items away. Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor. Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Washes windows. Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pick up. Paint interior and exterior walls and trim. Operates backhoe to dig trenches for water and sewer pipe. Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete. Operates equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks. Maintains and repairs buildings plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses. Repairs or replaces buildings with brick, stone, and concrete. Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings. Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as trick, street sweeper, and riding mower. Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. Education and/or Experience Highschool Diploma or GED One to Three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current Valid Florida ID or Driver License Pass MVR Pass Level 2 Background as well as local background . The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
