Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our apartment complex. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing routine repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry work.
Repair Requests:
Respond promptly to residents' maintenance requests and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and professionally.
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Property Appearance:
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including common areas, grounds, and amenities.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed according to safety protocols and building codes.
Inventory Management:
Track and maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for maintenance work.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in an apartment or residential setting. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with residents and team members. Availability for on-call shifts and emergency maintenance requests. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
HVAC certification or relevant technical training. Experience with property management software. Bilingual skills (a plus).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work in various weather conditions. Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
