In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform appliance repairs, equipment repairs, and general maintenance tasks across various facility systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively. Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during upgrades or installations while adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime and disruptions. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and equipment repair. Mechanical knowledge related to construction, equipment installation, and maintenance procedures. Ability to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Leadership skills to guide or assist team members during maintenance projects or emergency repairs. Strong communication skills to clearly document work performed and collaborate with team members. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R, refrigeration, or appliance repair are highly desirable.
