As a member of our on-site management team, our Make Ready Technicians help maintain the interior standards for our apartments and prepare a welcoming home for our new residents. The Make Ready Technician will assist our Service team to ensure resident satisfaction and timely maintenance service. This job context involves the grounds surrounding multifamily housing complexes. The specifics tasks of this position are performed in all weather conditions. This position involves the use of chemicals/cleansers.
Responsibilities:
Prepares and cleans vacant units to prepare for move-ins. General housekeeping in community areas of property and management office. Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures. Reports any maintenance items that need attention to management. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in multi-family housing. Painting experience is preferred. Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience required. General service experience with knowledge or background in
HVAC and EPA General Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be willing and able to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a professional apartment maintenance team. Experience and able to work effectively and efficiently on an independent basis to meet deadlines. Must be willing and able to effectively interact with a wide variety of personalities; maintaining excellent public relations on an ongoing basis. Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances. Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents. Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations. Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws. Be able to work evenings and weekends. Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
