Department Information Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. Job Summary Perform a variety of basic multi-craft tasks in the general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings, including installation, repair, and replacement of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Perform building-related basic construction and fabrication work. This position will interact consistently with: Area maintenance staff and contractors. • Perform basic installation, repair, and replacement of components of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Job Duty 2
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of buildings; inspect assigned buildings/related fixtures, mechanical equipment, machines, and other structural components. Job Duty 3
• Transport tools, equipment, and personnel to and from the job site. Job Duty 4
• Obtain equipment and supplies required to complete assignments. Job Duty 5
• May coordinate contractor service delivery. Job Duty 6
• Perform other duties as assigned.

18/hr. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities SKILLS This position requires the ability to operate hand/power tools, motor vehicles (which may include a forklift), and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. A basic working knowledge in equipment maintenance and repair and building construction support and maintenance is required. Use of specialized computer applications may be required.
