This position involves assisting with a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across residential properties. You'll work closely with experienced technicians and maintenance staff to develop your skills while contributing to well-maintained, welcoming homes for residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in residential facilities operations and maintenance. Duties Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures Support electrical work such as installing outlets, switches, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using schematics and ohmmeters Perform basic carpentry tasks like repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and other interior structures Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment to perform maintenance painting, drywall repairs, and building upkeep Requirements Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical work, and building maintenance Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices in residential or commercial settings Skilled in basic carpentry, painting, plumbing system maintenance and repair tasks Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical equipment Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and residents Ability to follow safety guidelines Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment Work is performed inside and outside in all weather.
