Lawn maintenance crew leader/laborer

Job Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader/Laborer and take charge of creating beautiful, well-maintained outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will lead and assist with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure our clients' properties thrive with lush lawns, vibrant gardens, and pristine hardscapes. Duties Lead and coordinate crew members to perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance efficiently and safely Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and hand tools to complete landscaping tasks with precision Assist with installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, hardscape features, and garden beds Use mechanical knowledge to operate equipment like excavators or other machinery for landscape construction or tree care projects Perform tree trimming, pruning, and planting activities to enhance the health and appearance of landscapes Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work sites by inspecting tools and equipment regularly Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related construction work Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools and power tools for various tasks Knowledge of horticulture practices including gardening, tree care, and plant health management Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation systems confidently Strong understanding of landscape design principles including hardscape installation and garden layout Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise crew members effectively Valid driver's license preferred; experience operating heavy machinery like excavators is a plus Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes!
