Role:
As a Groundskeeper/Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, appearance, safety, and curb appeal of the apartment community while also assisting with the preparation of vacant apartments for new residents. The position supports the maintenance team by helping ensure that the community remains clean, attractive, safe, and ready for resident move-ins.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in property management or residential maintenance. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, stariwells, and building entrances. Pick up trash and debris, empty outdoor receptacles, clean dumpster or compactor areas, and maintain pet-waste stations. Perform repairs as needed to ensure units are in optimal condition. Paint and clean units to enhance their appearance and ensure they are move-in ready. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services that exceed the technician's capabilities. Conduct regular work orders. Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with property management regarding progress and any issues encountered.
