The Atlanta Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of our club while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our members and guests. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM , offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional team at one of Atlanta's premier private clubs. Clean and sanitize the Men's Lounge, locker room, restrooms, showers, and related facilities. Replenish towels, toiletries, paper products, and locker room supplies. Empty trash and recycling receptacles. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas. Clean mirrors, glass, fixtures, lockers, benches, and other furnishings. Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to the Facilities Manager. Maintain cleanliness throughout the day to ensure a positive member experience. Tennis Court Maintenance Prepare tennis courts for daily play and Club events, a total of 4 clay courts and 4 hard courts. Sweep, blow, and clean court surfaces and surrounding areas. Maintain court furnishings, windscreens, benches, and player areas. Empty trash receptacles and replenish court amenities as needed. Assist with seasonal court setup and maintenance activities. Report court conditions or repair needs. Grounds & Outdoor Maintenance Perform general building maintenance, including blowing walkways, picking up debris, emptying outdoor trash receptacles, and maintaining common areas. Assist with cleaning entrances, patios, parking areas, sidewalks, and other outdoor spaces. Help set up and remove tables, chairs, tents, and equipment for Club events as assigned. Assist with seasonal maintenance projects, including leaf removal, snow or ice response (if applicable), and outdoor cleaning. Operate hand tools and powered equipment safely and according to Club procedures. Possible pool cleaning and chemical testing. General Responsibilities Follow all safety policies and proper procedures when operating equipment and handling cleaning chemicals. Maintain assigned equipment and notify management when repairs or replacements are needed. Respond promptly to member and departmental requests. Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to members, guests, and coworkers. Assist other departments with facility-related tasks as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned to support Club operations. The Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of assigned Club facilities and outdoor areas. This position performs housekeeping duties in the Men's Lounge, supports tennis court maintenance, and assists with general outdoor maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and employees. The Facilities Attendant performs a variety of hands-on tasks while following established Club standards and safety procedures.
