8:00 a.m.

• 5:00 p.m., with an unpaid lunch period We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Janitorial / Maintenance Worker to assist with the daily cleaning, upkeep, and general maintenance of a residential property in Honolulu. Work Schedule Must be available to work Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.
• 5:00 p.m. Remaining workdays will generally be 8:00 a.m.

m. Employee will have two days off per week. Monday may be considered as one of the employee's regular days off, depending on scheduling needs. Primary Responsibilities The position will generally consist of approximately four hours of janitorial duties and four hours of maintenance/special projects each workday.

Janitorial duties may include:

Cleaning trash chutes, recycling closets, and trash areas Moving/pushing plastic trash dumpsters to the street for collection and returning them after they have been emptied Cleaning BBQ areas and other common areas Sweeping and using a blower to maintain exterior areas Using appropriate cleaning products and supplies General cleaning and property upkeep Maintenance and special projects may include: Painting Power washing Landscaping and yard work Special or deep-cleaning projects Assisting with other general property maintenance projects as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds Ability to lift and place bags or other materials into a dumpster Comfortable pushing or moving heavy plastic dumpsters Able to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and working outdoors Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Must have a working personal cell phone Must have reliable transportation or a reliable means of commuting to the property in Honolulu Bicycle or moped parking may potentially be accommodated; automobile parking is not provided onsite Able to work independently and complete assigned duties efficiently Professional and courteous when interacting with residents Able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and keep resident conversations brief while performing assigned duties Must be available for the required Saturday schedule Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, physically capable, and willing to perform both routine cleaning and hands-on maintenance work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a residential property clean, safe, and well maintained.
