At Pearl City Post Acute, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and respectful environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Call-In Maintenance Worker to join our team and help maintain the safety, functionality, and comfort of our facility on an as-needed basis.
Job Summary:
As a Call-In Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with the general maintenance and repair of the facility. You will respond to service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and support the facility's operational needs to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance duties including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner Conduct routine inspections of the building and equipment Assist with groundskeeping and general facility upkeep Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order Work collaboratively with other maintenance and facility staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in building maintenance or a similar role preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable, flexible, and available to work on-call shifts including weekends and holidays as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and climbing ladders Why Join Us?
