The Maintenance Assistant / Transportation Driver plays an essential role in achieving this mission by helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment while providing dependable transportation services that promote resident independence, engagement, and quality of life. This full-time position combines two essential functions within the community, with approximately 20 hours per week dedicated to maintenance support and 20 hours per week dedicated to resident transportation. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, dependable, and passionate about enriching the lives of older adults through exceptional care and hospitality. Transportation Driver Duties Provide safe, courteous, and reliable transportation services that enhance residents' independence and community involvement. Build positive relationships with residents and families through exceptional customer service and compassionate support. Serve as a positive ambassador for Better Living while transporting residents to appointments, outings, and community events. Assist residents with mobility needs while preserving dignity and promoting independence whenever possible. Maintenance Assistant Duties Help create and maintain an environment that reflects Better Living's commitment to excellence, safety, and resident satisfaction. Ensure resident living spaces and common areas remain clean, functional, and welcoming. Respond promptly and courteously to maintenance requests, recognizing that each request impacts a resident's comfort and quality of life. Why Join Better Living?
