This position is assigned to the Operations and Maintenance (O/M) Branch, Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO), Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG), functioning within the Idaho Military Division (IMD). The primary purpose of this position is to perform groundskeeping, material handling, snow removal, and building maintenance tasks on Gowen Field, Orchard Combat Training Center (OCTC), and statewide National Guard Readiness Centers (Armories).MILITARY DIVISION MANDATORY QUESTIONS

(attach as a supporting document in Luma): (1) Must have and maintain a valid and unrestricted state issued driver's license (from any state). Provide your driver's license number, issuing state, license expiration date, and the full name specified on the license. ( Do not provide a copy of your driver's license.) (2) Must have, or be eligible to obtain, and maintain a favorable NACI/T1 Federal Background Investigation. If a selected candidate does not have a current favorable NACI/T1, as a condition of employment he/she must submit to the investigation process immediately upon hire/appointment.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
(attach as a supporting document in Luma): Must have 12-months' of experience performing work related to the knowledge requirements below. Submit a paragraph for each knowledge requirement that demonstrates the required experience and describes competence in applying the knowledge. Education and training may be used to offset experience. (1) Describe your knowledge of general grounds and facility maintenance tasks sufficient to effectively perform lawn mowing, grass trimming, tree and shrub trimming, materials placement or removal, pesticides application, fertilization, snow and ice removal, debris collection, custodial tasks, and light repair tasks. (2) Describe your knowledge and experience in the safe operation of heavy duty pick-ups and stake body trucks up to the 2-ton category with trailers, utility task vehicles with trailers, skid steers, tractors, forklifts, lawnmowers, string trimmers, brush hogs, hedge trimmers, blowers, sweepers, wheel barrels, shovels, rakes, brooms, mops, axes, chain saws, and other types and varieties of equipment used in snow removal, material handling, groundskeeping, and building maintenance in all types of conditions. (3) Describe your knowledge of safety procedures related to lawn care, pesticide use and storage, grounds maintenance, building maintenance, light construction, materials handling, and custodial work; to include knowledge in the wear and appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
