The Maintenance Coordinator supports maintenance operations across a multi-property portfolio by coordinating work orders, scheduling vendors, supporting maintenance teams, and managing resident communication. This role is primarily administrative, with limited non-technical maintenance support as needed, and plays a key role in ensuring timely follow-up and efficient property operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule maintenance requests across multiple properties Monitor, track, and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion and proper documentation Serve as a primary point of contact for maintenance-related resident communication and portal requests Support maintenance teams with scheduling, follow-up, and operational coordination Coordinate vendor services, renovations, inspections, and property walk-throughs as needed Maintain maintenance reports, tracking tools, and operational documentation Ensure adherence to maintenance policies, key control procedures, and Fair Housing requirements Assist with limited, non-technical maintenance tasks as needed Collaborate with property management and operations teams to support portfolio needs Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior administrative, coordination, or property management experience preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn property management software (Yardi preferred) Strong communication skills and customer service mindset Flexible schedule with ability to travel between properties as needed Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required Skills & Abilities Organized with strong attention to detail Ability to coordinate across teams, properties, and vendors Comfortable working in a fast-paced, portfolio-based environment Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems
