Axiom Healthcare of Harrisburg is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with our team to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and replacing air filters Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify potential problems Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with facility equipment and systems Collaborate with the facilities manager to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks Develop and maintain a systematic approach to record-keeping and documentation Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors to ensure a positive and safe environment Participate in on-call rotation to address after-hours maintenance needs

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required 0-1 year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team
