JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
OF POSITION
Works as a member of a crew that performs a wide variety of duties and tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of city parks, grounds, trails, and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Grounds keeping tasks such as mulching, weeding, and trash pickup. Performing brush and debris removal, material hauling, turf repair, leaf raking, litter pick-up, and other related duties as assigned. Accountable for maintaining high standards for safety, maintenance, and appearance. Continuous litter pick-up and removal from assigned areas as directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods. Working knowledge of mechanics and ability to perform safety/maintenance equipment inspection.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level HS Diploma or equivalent Years of Experience Previous experience in the safe operation of grounds keeping equipment, hand tools, and other related equipment is preferred. Certification/Licensure
