The following vacancy exists in Goshen Community Schools for the 2026
Summer:
Goshen Community Schools Summer Technology Maintenance Assistant
POSITION PURPOSE
To assist the technology department with summer infrastructure updates, specifically focusing on the physical removal of old cabling and completing various manual labor tasks to prepare buildings for the upcoming school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Safely climb and work on ladders to access ceiling spaces and elevated areas. Remove old, obsolete network cabling and equipment from drop ceilings and conduit. Perform various manual labor tasks to support the technology department's summer initiatives. Assist with the cleanup, disposal, and recycling of removed wires, debris, and outdated hardware. Maintain a safe and organized work environment in all accessed areas. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology/Building Principal.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 16 years of age Demonstrated ability to perform sustained physical labor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work safely at heights and on ladders. Ability to work with others collaboratively and professionally Strong adherence to workplace safety protocols and instructions.

Summer schedule (Specific weeks and hours to be determined based on project needs).
