Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dependable Porter/Maintenance Worker to join our night shift team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment, including floor buffers and industrial cleaning tools Handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed, adhering to safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing, floor care, and routine maintenance to ensure a polished appearance Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and ensuring safety protocol adherence throughout the premises Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while following safety guidelines to ensure effective sanitation and cleanliness Support custodial operations by replenishing supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment effectively Knowledge of facilities maintenance routines including basic repairs and painting skills (residential or industrial) preferred Commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a clean, safe environment at all times Join us in creating a pristine environment that promotes safety, comfort, and professionalism.
