This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits that plays a key role in providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for thousands of athletes, families, and visitors each year.
Starting Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule Expectations:
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Typical work schedule when not assigned evening or weekend shifts is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Must participate in snow removal operations during winter weather events. What You'll Do As a Maintenance Worker, you'll help maintain the sports complex grounds, facilities, and equipment by: Preparing athletic fields, including lining/chalking fields, setting bases, and assisting with game and event setup. Maintaining restrooms and ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming. Performing repairs and upkeep on fences, dugouts, bleachers, lighting, and other site amenities. Operating and maintaining hand and power equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, sprayers, and other grounds maintenance tools. Supporting winter operations, including snow and ice removal. Operate equipment (training provided): Tractors for dragging fields and setting up pitching mounds. Loaders for sweeping concrete and plowing snow. Trucks for pulling trailers and operating snow plows and salt spreaders. Qualified applicants must be at least 18yrs old and possess at least a high school diploma or GED. General knowledge and experience with operation and maintenance of lawn care equipment, tractors, implements, and hand tools. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Regular and punctual attendance is required. The candidate must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and maintain a valid driver license.
