This position will perform preventive maintenance and routine operational duties in City parking garages, lots and structures.
What will you do:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on parking garages to include gates, ticket machines, card readers and overhead operator equipment. Perform outside landscaping which includes mowing, trimming, trash and debris removal. Perform parking meter maintenance to include installation, removal, painting and repairs. Will learn the BI-monthly, Pay-On-Foot station cash handling procedures as well as the Scan Net computerized gate system. The ideal candidate possesses any combination of the following traits: A basic knowledge of mechanics and/or plumbing hand tools. Has knowledge of standard safety practices. Thrives in a mobile work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver's license and city insurable driving record. Please review the insurability guidelines here.
