MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT WICHITA, KANSAS

The Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC), a community of Catholic women religious, are seeking a Maintenance Assistant, for 40 hours per week, at its Wichita, Kansas Center to help maintain our facilities in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate must have a minimum high school diploma or GED, with at least two years of sound knowledge and proven experience in general maintenance, such as basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical wiring/repair/replacement; repair and maintenance of mechanical systems; and grounds/sprinkler system maintenance. Other requirements and job duties include: equipment maintenance; programming and repair of electronic equipment and appliances; the ability to safely operate hand and power tools; the ability to lift heavy objects. Must be able to develop project plans and schedules; demonstrate very good communications, problem-solving and time-management skills. Must have a valid state driver's license and be able to travel by self-driven vehicle; must be mobile; and must have the ability to function effectively, productively, and calmly under the direction of the immediate supervisors.
