Overview This is an intern level position. Intern will gain practical, hands-on experience in the utility industry under close supervision. Responsibilities Perform maintenance activities as required to maintain, repair, inspect, install, rebuild, construct, and troubleshoot various power plant equipment. Learn the proper use of hand tools, power tools, hoist, drill presses, grinders, and other tools and equipment pertaining to the work. Assist employees in carrying out work assignments. Clean equipment undergoing repairs, handle and move material, supplies and equipment in connection with the work and work area. Be able to learn to make and read simple drawings and sketches.
