Work also involves the safe operation of a variety of light, automotive equipment to complete work assignments, and the trimming and removal of trees and stumps. Maintains interstate and boulevard medians by cutting grass, weed eating, pruning trees and bushes; picks up litter along roadways and interstates; maintains municipal flower beds by weeding and planting flowers and shrubs; decorates with Christmas lights. Installs and replaces street signs throughout the city. Operates jackhammer, small power mower, lawn edger, power saw, small concrete mixer, air compressor and other light equipment.
